I’m so excited (and also very nervous) because today we start recording The Literate Child podcast. The podcast will launch on January 1st 2017 so it’s not out yet and we’re still in the early stages. Nanci Nott and I have been preparing for a few weeks but today it’s time to step in front of the camera and microphone. We’ve deliberately planned what should be a nice, relaxed episode but we have so many exciting episodes on the calendar to record in coming weeks.
We’re also keen to answer any questions people may have about early literacy, language and literacy development, or learning difficulties. We’d like to speak with other experts, especially people who experience these challenges as well as parents and teachers as well as speech therapists and researchers in the field. So if you’d be interested in being on the show and talking with us reach out and let us know!
This is a whole new adventure for Aulexic and we’re both very excited and at the same time nervous and hopeful that we’ll create another amazing resource for you. Let us know what you’d love going forward because this show is about helping you and others like you who are seeking answers, help, and better understanding of the challenges children face with language and literacy difficulties.
A huge thank you to Nanci Nott (my co-host) and to Aaron from Defy Reality Studios for helping me make this podcast a reality. It’s amazing to have your support and I hope together we can help transform lives for children experience language and literacy difficulties now and in the years to come.
